Halo (SPARTAN002 review)

You are the last of your kind. Bred for combat, built for war, you are the master of any weapon, pilot of any vehicle and fear no enemy. Bent on Humankind's extermination, a powerful fellowship of alien races known as the Covenant is wiping out the Earth's fledgling interstellar empire. You and the other Surviving defenders of a devastated colony-world make a desperate attempt to lure the alien fleet away from Earth. Shot down and marooned on the ancient ring-world Halo, you begin a guerilla-war against the Covenant. Fight for humanity against an alien onslaught as you race to uncover the mysteries of Halo. Packed with action, Halo contains all the thrilling game play and rich story that made it a smash hit with gamers all over the world.

Graphics:
Halo when it was released had amazing graphics even the top to date PCs couldnt handle even to this day the graphics are some of the best you will find on a console game. The big, wide, explore environments and effects are some of the best and will bring a tear to your eye.

Audio:
The music is memorable and you all know the main theme well the sound of your weapons are very well done and the endless phrases from Grunts, Marines, and Elites never get old to hear and are most times hilarious and if you think about it this is a game you can see yourself buying the soundtrack.

Gameplay:
Single Player really showed you a story you have never seen from the moment you crash land on Halo you know its going to be a ride. Co-op was new at the time and is still not used often which is a sad thing most games need to take this new idea. Difficulty of the game can go from easy to Legendary and beating a level in Legendary is always comforting and shows your skills at a game. Multiplayer is an incredible, addicting and fun aspect of Halo being able to play with 16 players on System Link or Xbconnect. The maps are really well done the weapons are great and u can use vehicles which make for more fun and strategy to the game.

Overall:
If you havent got Halo, youre missing out on one of the best console games ever. there isnt quite an FPS out there for the Consoles but Halo 2 might be better its overall preference and UT2 might be something else you want to check out but overall this game is quite an experience you will never forget and cherish the whole way through and  the fact that going into MP leaves you wanting more is a good feeling overall I give this game a score of:

9.6/10
