Lord of the Rings: The Third Age is a fantasy Rpg set in the Lord of the Rings universe, developed by EA. Is

Audio:
All Lord of the Rings games are blessed with one of the greatest soundtracks and awesome sound design left over
from the movies so the game sounds great. The soundtrack (Composed by howard shore) is taken straight out from the movies
so the awesome soundtrack returns. The sound effects (Like the movie's) are fantastic as well. Bow shots, the clammer
of shields and swords, the screams of your allys and the orcs, uruks, trolls, wargs and the other denizens of middle earth
are amazing.

Graphics:
The graphics in this game are enhanced from the Return of the King hack and slash. Character models are nice,
effects like fire and explosions are awesome, the enviroments are well done, the spells, while not as flashy a some of the
FF games, are well represented too, and the Balrog just looks flat-out cool. The graphics while not of Riddick or Halo 2 quality,
are very good.

Gameplay:
This is a tradional RPG, which means turn based combat (something that im not to particulary fond of). The combat
system is basically the FFX combat system wich isnt neccesarily a bad thing. Even though the battles are fun the game seems
like shreman's total war through middle earth. There arent towns to visit (there are actually but they've been either razed
to the ground or in the process of being razed) no shops to buy goods from (which enhances the diffuculty level of an already
tough game) no charachter interaction (once in a while you have a cutscene where you talk to your party), this is what drags
the gameplay down.

Story:
The story is just as good as the movies and books, you dont play as the actual fellowship, but you do have
cameos from legolas, aragon, and gandalf.
